Weight (55 gsm)
– Light weight causes less foreign body reaction , causing less fibrosis and chances of nerve entrapment. This results in better tissue incorporation, increased compliance of the prosthesis and decreased patient discomfort and pain.
– Light weight induces less formation of seroma.
Elasticity (25%) and memory
– Large pores with light weight increase elasticity and reduce memory , which allows ease of handling during procedure and better patient comfort post surgery during normal body movements.
